When you think “green cars” you may not think Ford… but maybe you should. When Kelly Blue Book (Kbb) recently released its list of the “Top Fuel-Efficient Cars of 2013” the Blue Oval claimed three of the top 10 spots with the Focus Electric, C-Max Energi, and the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. A spokesman for Kbb says the auto industry is responding to consumer demand. Jack R. Nerad,the executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kbb says the auto industry is responding to consumer demand. “A growing number of eco-conscious drivers are going ‘green” prompting auto makers to come forth “with the widest array of offerings in the ‘Green Car’ segment than ever before.” Of the automakers on the “Top Fuel-Efficient Cars” list, Ford claimed the most spots.
